More than videos. A better way to know what to study next.
CCNA Practice Labs combines a structured 10-week study path, concise notes, interactive trainers, Packet Tracer labs, exam simulations, and progress analytics. Passive video watching is not enough—you need practice, feedback, repetition, and a clear view of weak areas.

Free videos stay free
The instructional videos organized throughout the study path are created and hosted by independent third-party educators on YouTube. Those videos are already freely available, and CCNA Practice Labs does not charge users for access to them.
The platform’s paid value comes from original study notes, guides, interactive tools, labs, exams, quiz systems, analytics, and the structured learning experience built around those resources.
- Video creators retain ownership of their work.
- We organize and link to these resources as part of the learning path—not as exclusive subscriber content.
- A subscription does not imply ownership of or exclusive access to third-party videos.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with individual YouTube creators unless explicitly stated elsewhere.
You are paying for the learning platform—not for videos that are already free.
Video links open YouTube in a new tab. These are free public videos from their original creators — not hosted, sold, or copyrighted by CCNA Practice Labs.
Study notes built for review—not information overload
Concise notes help you review important concepts quickly between labs, tools, and exams. Full course notes and the complete subscriber guide library go deeper when you need configuration examples, command references, and exam-relevant distinctions.
- Key concepts organized by exam domain
- Configuration examples and command references
- Visual explanations where helpful
- Troubleshooting guidance and common points of confusion
- Exam-relevant distinctions and practical context

Turn recognition into fluency
12 purpose-built learning tools transform difficult CCNA concepts into guided, hands-on exercises with responsive visuals, immediate feedback, repeatable practice, and step-by-step explanations. Several tools include multiple modes or sub-tools (for example, PacketStack explorer/memory modes or wireless security builder).
Free visitors and demo users receive a limited number of practice attempts or questions in supported tools. Questions may repeat as the free pool is used. Subscribers receive unlimited access to the full toolset without free-tier caps.

Labs designed around the decisions the exam expects
The Packet Tracer lab library is being expanded throughout the site’s launch and will continue to grow. New labs are added as they are completed and validated.
Concept and theory labs
Labs that reinforce how a protocol, configuration, or network behavior works—without forcing every exercise to resemble an exam question.
Exam-style labs
Focused tasks that prioritize configuration choices, verification, troubleshooting, and efficient execution. The CCNA is a timed exam, so exam-style labs test focused judgment and configuration fluency—not hours of unrelated setup.
Labs are original study exercises and are not copied from the live CCNA exam.

Practice with balanced exam coverage
A full subscription unlocks the complete assessment system: four 100-question practice exams, blueprint-weighted random quizzes, domain drills, missed-question workflows, and performance history on the student dashboard.
Random and domain-based quizzes use category-aware weighting so a large session does not become unintentionally dominated by one topic simply because that category has more available questions. Category balance is informed by the published CCNA exam blueprint—we do not claim to reproduce Cisco’s live exam question mix exactly.
Available today
- Fixed 100-question practice exams
- Random weighted full-length quiz
- Domain drill sets by CCNA domain
- Quick quiz and learning mixed exams (public preview modes)
In development
- • Full custom quiz builder with topic and difficulty pickers

Use the virtual exams as a readiness checkpoint
Two virtual mixed-format exams provide a more demanding, full-platform assessment near the end of your preparation. Cisco does not publish a simple, permanent percentage score that guarantees a passing result on the current CCNA. The platform uses an internal readiness benchmark for study guidance—not a prediction or guarantee of Cisco’s scoring decision.
We use 82.5% as an internal passing benchmark because 825 out of 1,000 was a widely cited historical rule of thumb for earlier Cisco exams. This is not an official current Cisco passing score.
Excellent performance across the virtual exam. Maintain your strengths and review any remaining misses.
Your result meets the platform’s internal passing benchmark. Review weak categories before scheduling the exam.
Close—but strengthen weak areas
You have a meaningful foundation, but additional focused review is recommended before treating yourself as exam-ready.
Use the category results and missed-question review to identify the areas that need the most work.
See more than a score
A final percentage tells you what happened. Useful analytics help explain why it happened and what you should study next.

Turn every missed answer into a study plan
Limited on free tierThe missed-answer workflow is designed to help you find patterns—not simply reread a score report. Repeated mistakes can reveal incomplete knowledge, command confusion, weak subnetting fluency, rushed reading, or difficulty applying a concept.
- The question you missed
- Your selected answer and the correct answer
- Explanations where available
- Associated topic and exam domain
- Patterns across multiple attempts (subscriber dashboard)
A broader readiness score is in development
In developmentThe planned readiness score will combine multiple indicators rather than relying on one test result. Its purpose is to help you decide whether recent performance is consistent enough to schedule the CCNA or whether continued study would be more productive.
A weighted readiness score with component breakdown is available to subscribers on the student dashboard today. The broader composite score described here remains in active development.
The score will be study guidance, not a guarantee of passing the Cisco exam.
- • Recent practice-exam performance
- • Virtual-exam performance
- • Topic coverage and consistency
- • Question volume and performance trends
- • Tool proficiency and lab completion
- • Missed-question patterns
- • Recency and consistency of study
