Effective date: [INSERT EFFECTIVE DATE] · Last updated: [INSERT LAST UPDATED DATE]
INITIAL DRAFT — These Terms require review by qualified legal counsel before production launch or reliance in billing disputes.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of https://ccnapracticelabs.com, related applications, tools, content, and services operated by CCNA Practice Labs (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy, each incorporated by reference.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with permission of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to enter into these Terms.
Accounts and Authentication
Some features require account registration through our separate dashboard application. You may authenticate using Google sign-in or other account methods we support.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorized access.
Service Access Levels
The Service is offered in tiers. Features may change over time. Descriptions below use 'may include' language and are not a guarantee that every feature will remain available permanently.
- Public visitors may receive partial access to selected tools, access to publicly shared third-party educational videos where linked or embedded, and access to public marketing and informational pages on this site.
- Registered free users may receive limited access to selected tools, usage limits, course-week or topic notes, charts, and the ability to evaluate parts of the Service before purchasing a subscription through the dashboard application.
- Paid subscribers may receive broader access that may include full interactive tools, progress monitoring, extended topic guides, course materials, practice exams, multiple-choice exams, drag-and-drop study activities, topic-comparison activities, subnetting exercises, routing-table exercises, NAT and PAT exercises, ACL exercises, randomized question-bank exams, topic-distribution controls intended to reflect the published CCNA exam blueprint, and simulated exams containing questions tied to Packet Tracer lab files prepared by site staff.
Paid Access, Billing, and Renewals
Paid access is sold for defined access periods through our dashboard application and processed by Stripe or other payment providers we designate.
Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, the initial paid access period is three months.
Automatic renewal is not enabled by default. Optional two-month renewal periods may be offered, and each later renewal must be affirmatively selected by you where such an option is provided.
Access ends when the paid access period expires. We do not promise that access will continue after expiration unless you purchase a new access period or we expressly extend access in writing.
Billing, refunds, and cancellation details are also described in our Refund Policy.
Educational Use Only
The Service is provided for educational and training purposes only.
We do not guarantee that you will pass the Cisco CCNA exam or any other certification exam.
Practice results, readiness scores, and simulated exam outcomes are not official Cisco exam results and must not be represented as such.
Simulated exams and practice questions are not actual Cisco exams.
Labs, Simulations, and Third-Party Software
The Service does not currently virtualize a complete network environment in the browser.
Some Packet Tracer-related labs may require external Cisco software installed on your own computer. You are responsible for obtaining and complying with any third-party software licenses.
Third-party videos remain the property of their respective owners. Public videos linked or embedded for educational context are not being sold by CCNA Practice Labs.
Intellectual Property
CCNA Practice Labs owns or licenses the Service, including proprietary tools, guides, charts, exams, questions, layouts, branding, progress systems, and related materials.
You receive a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use the Service for your own study in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from proprietary Service content except as expressly permitted by law or by us in writing.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, or third-party rights.
Prohibited conduct includes automated extraction of the question bank, account sharing, credential abuse, paywall circumvention, and other misuse described in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to operate and improve the Service without obligation to you.
Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services such as Google, Stripe, Cloudflare, hosting providers, and video platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, content, or access tiers at any time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events, and third-party outages may affect availability.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or risk to the Service or other users.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain provisions survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER WE NOR OUR SUPPLIERS OR SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATIONS ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our operators, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
Except where prohibited, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Nothing in this section limits either party's ability to seek injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access.
